Operations Administrator

What I do

As an Operations Administrator, I am dedicated to supporting the team by managing and optimizing all administrative functions within the company.

Professional background

I was born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia and lived in the US for almost 10 years. During that time, I earned my undergraduate degree in Business Administration, and right after I graduated, I pursued my MBA.

I moved back to Colombia in 2015, and since then, I worked for a company that provides engineering services in Colombia and Panama. I was with the company for almost 8 years as an Administrative Coordinator. During my time with the company, I learned so much about structuring and organizing day-to-day tasks, building client relationships, and creating strong relationships with team members.

Prior to moving back home, I had the opportunity to work for an insurance company in Des Moines, IA, as the General Manager. I worked there for two years. This was also valuable work experience for me because I learned how to proactively manage, train and assist different company departments in achieving our monthly goals.

Values that drive me

The values that drive me are honesty, integrity, kindness, perseverance, respect, tolerance, simplicity, freedom, commitment, caring, faith, and love.

What I like about working at Human

What I love about working at Human so far is that I matter – the company prioritized my well-being throughout the entire recruitment and training process, which was a unique experience for me. I also like how the company has a lot of channels to communicate with team members and clients, which definitely makes collaborating a lot easier. Lastly, I admire how the CFO, CEO, and Operations Officer work closely to ensure efficient decision-making and that everything runs smoothly. This is an excellent benefit to have as an employee and as a client of the agency.

Free time activities

I enjoy going for walks (trekking), listening to music, and definitely spending time with my daughter.
